Experience the deep flavour and comforting aroma of classic Sayama tea. A harmonious and perfectly balanced sencha, rich in character with a signature sweet fragrance.

There is a taste of home that is impossible to replicate—a unique comfort found in a familiar landscape. This tea is our tribute to that feeling. Hometown Harmony comes from the celebrated tea fields of Sayama, Saitama—co-founder Misaki’s home region and one of the “Three Great Teas of Japan.”

As one of Japan's northernmost major tea regions, the cooler climate in Sayama causes the tea leaves to grow thicker, developing a deep, complex flavour and a characteristically rich sweetness. We have selected a perfect blend of two cultivars to express this heritage: the classic Yabukita provides a rich, full-bodied foundation, while the rare Sayamakaori lends its signature, unforgettable sweet aroma. The result is a sencha that is both powerful and gentle, a perfect harmony of flavour that evokes a sense of nostalgia and quiet comfort.

How to Brew Tea: A General Guide

There is an old saying in Japan: “Color from Shizuoka, Aroma from Uji, and Taste from Sayama.” For our co-founder Misaki, this celebrated region in Saitama is simply the taste of home. The secret to Sayama's renowned depth lies in its northern climate. The cold winters cause the tea leaves to grow thicker, developing a complex, full-bodied character that is profoundly rich and satisfying.

This inherent richness is then often perfected by a traditional finishing process known as Sayama Hi-ire, a special high-temperature firing that awakens a signature sweet, comforting aroma. The result is a powerful yet gentle tea, a perfect harmony of sweetness and depth that truly represents the heart of this historic region.
