TEAWARE
Artisanal Teaware & Precision Brewing Accessories
The journey from leaf to cup relies as much on the vessel as it does on the tea itself. Fine teaware is not merely functional—it enhances thermal retention, elevates aromas, and transforms brewing into a tactile, mindful ritual. Our curated collection brings together centuries-old Japanese ceramic traditions with modern, heat-resistant glassware designed to unlock the full potential of every single-origin leaf.
Curated Essential Teaware
Each piece in our lineup is selected for its utility, aesthetic harmony, and seamless integration into daily brewing rituals:
- Tokoname Kyusu Teapots: Custom-crafted in Tokoname, Japan—one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns. Made from iron-rich clay that naturally rounds out harsh tannins, delivering a silky, balanced brew.
- Ceremonial Matcha Tools: Precision bamboo whisk options (80-prong for effortless daily frothing and 100-prong for fine, velvety micro-foam), paired with traditionally carved bamboo tea scoops (Chashaku) and elegant glazed Oribe Chasen Naoshi (whisk holders) to preserve whisk shape and longevity.
- Modern Glass & Cold Brew Accessories: High-grade Hario laboratory beaker servers and dedicated cold-brew glass bottles, designed for precise liquid measurement, clarity, and slow overnight extractions.
Designed for Mindful Rituals
At Prelude Tea, we view teaware as the physical vessel for sensory connection. Whether whisking a morning bowl of single-origin matcha or precision-steeping rare loose-leaf tea alongside our custom piano compositions, our tools are built to elevate your daily tea practice.
Care & Maintenance for Longevity
Artisanal teaware thrives with gentle care. Natural clay teapots like our Tokoname Kyusu should be rinsed thoroughly with hot water (avoiding harsh detergents) so the porous clay seasons naturally over time. Bamboo tools like Chasen should be rinsed immediately after use and allowed to air-dry on a Chasen Naoshi to maintain prong structure and prevent mold.
