This exceptional wakocha (Japanese black tea) is crafted from the Minamisayaka cultivar, a variety celebrated for its naturally sweet and floral character. Unlike more robust black teas from other parts of the world, it is remarkably smooth with very little bitterness or astringency. The careful oxidation process coaxes out a deep, wine-like color while preserving a delicate softness.
